Lots of fun in June!

 Bennett's art teacher posted these on her FB.  Bennett looked up Maleficent on the computer and then drew her.

People asked if Maggie looks like I did as a child...

We opened the pool for the summer!

 It started raining while we were sitting on the back porch one morning.  Maggie insisted on playing in the rain.

We had to bust out our friend, Puff the Penguin

Bennett's friend, Emily, invited Bennett and Grace to spend the night at Great Wolf Lodge for her birthday.  Maggie got to spend the day there too.  They have sooo much fun!!

She told me she WAS NOT tired!

This is probably my favorite memory of June.  Maggie fell out of the bed one night.  The next morning, I asked her if she fell out of the bed.  She said no.  I asked her what was on her face and she replied, "A snake bit me!"  She told me a whole story about a blue snake climbing in her bed.  The snake bit her on the face and made her fall out of the bed.  Then the snake went back to the snake house.  She stuck by this story and told everyone about it.  She still tells us that a snake bit her on the face.

The kids got invited to Alessandro's birthday party.  It was held at the Perot Museum.  They had a great time!!!

Craig changed offices so he had to leave work early on a Friday.  He called on the way home and told me to get the kids dressed.  We surprised them with a trip to the zoo.  They were so excited and had so much fun!!
