Holidays

We got all of the holiday stuff out of the attic over the weekend. I spent the day today (with the exception of a massage to treat myself!) putting all of the decorations out. The only thing we have left to do is to decorate the tree. Bennett walked in the house this afternoon and said, "Wow....it is so beautiful! I am so excited!!"

My favorite Bennett saying happened yesterday. He was asking Craig if people on TV were real or pretend. Craig took his time explaining everything to him. After Craig finished talking, Bennett got quiet. Then he looked at Craig and said, "Daddy, I guess I just don't know everything there is to know about life." That kid seriously cracks me up!!

We are SO excited about our visitors that are coming to see us on Friday. One of my favorite heart friends is coming from Las Vegas. She is bringing Isaac so we can all go see Yo Gabba Gabba. I can't wait to get her son, Eli, together with Bennett because they seem to be two peas in a pod.

Gracie is doing well. She is excited to go see Yo Gabba Gabba too. She is still quite the brat. Her new favorite thing is to tell us NO! It drives me crazy!!

Kathy....hurry up and get here!!

This morning...

Driving down the road......

Bennett: "Mommy, you need to go and get a haircut."
Mommy: : "Why is that Bennett?"
Bennett: "Because you have lots of taaaaangles! And your hair touches your shoulders and I don't like that. You need to cut off the taaaangles!"

Thanks buddy!

Sucker girl and Bevo

My mom bought this huge blowup Bevo for Craig for Christmas. Since it was too yucky to put outside, we blew it up inside for the Fiesta Bowl. Bennett loved it!!

Gracie has learned where the sucker drawer is at school. She walks to the drawer and tries to open it. Miss Lenna gave in and gave her a sucker today. She unwrapped it while she was in her carseat. When we got home, the girl was covered in sticky. Here she is telling me NOT to take her sucker away!!

Floor Picnic

These pictures are from a couple of months ago. We were watching the Longhorns play football. The kids were quiet. I turned around to find this. I said (exasperated) "What ARE you doing???" Bennett replied, "Mommy, we are having a picnic on the floor. We love to share."

Carry on my children...............

New Years Resolution

One of my resolutions is to get away from this computer all the time. However, I also want to do better about blogging the more mundane parts of our life on this blog. Just the everyday happenings in the Cooper household....

With that.....

Grace ate her first banana like a big girl today. Look at the death grip that the girl has on it!! Too funny! She loved it.

I took Bennett to the doctor to check out his hiney. Dr. Drieling said that it looked okay. We are supposed to put baking soda in his water and put neosporin on it 3 times a day.

Okay - there it is - nothing too exciting today!
