WISH TRIP - DAY 5 EVENING

After we finished story time with Belle, it was officially time for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween party to start.  We hit a trick-or-treat stand on the way to meet characters.

Our first stop was the one that Bennett and Grace were most looking forward to all day.....Rapunzel and Flynn Rider!!  We went in to meet them and Rapunzel was thrilled that we had a Pascal with us.  However, Maggie did not have a nap so she was GRUMPY!  Flynn Rider was very excited to see Bennett.  After we did pictures, Bennett asked Flynn Rider about his satchel.  Both of the kids were treated to sneak peeks inside the bag.  It turns out that Flynn Rider carries a frying pan along with his crown.
"Look, there's Punzel!"

Literally the best picture we have of Maggie.

Rapunzel and Flynn Rider share a room with Snow White and her Prince so we met them next.  Snow White has a very high pitched voice!  I couldn't listen to that all day!!  Maggie was pretty much done with meeting characters so Craig took her to ride the carousel (her favorite!) while we did this character meet.

There are some characters that don't come out very often in the parks.  The Seven Dwarves fall into that category.  Bennett and Grace love to meet any and all characters so we stopped for a photo op with the dwarves.

We waited until the Halloween party to ride the Haunted Mansion so we could stay in the mood.  It scared the kids but they rode it.  Grace rode with her eyes covered the whole time.  They close a lot of the restaurants during the party so we hit Harbor House again for dinner.  Craig decided to get into the Halloween spirit!

The kids wanted to go to Woody's Dance Party so Grandmama and I headed that way.  This was fun.  Woody and Jessie got out on the dance floor and danced with everyone.

Busting a move!

Next it was time to find our spot to watch the fireworks.  D-Daddy was tired of the crowd so he headed toward the park exit. (this turns out to be a blessing!)  The rest of us settled in front of Cinderella's castle.  They have a new light show that they play on the castle.  It is awesome!  I loved it.  The fireworks were beautiful, as usual.  They always make me tear up.  Gracie falls asleep during the show.  Maggie has had no nap and has hit the point of delirium.  Bennett is going strong because he was raring to go to the Villain Mix and Mingle.  Bennett and Grace had found this on YouTube and they were super excited about it.  They talked about it every single day.  Grandmama and Craig took the girls to find D-Daddy and I took Bennett to the show.
I love this picture!

Dr. Facilier

Maleficent

Queen of Hearts

Cruella de Ville

After they perform, the villains come down to do meet-and-greets.  Bennett was fired up to meet Dr. Facilier and Maleficent.  (Disney lost our pictures with Maleficent.  But, being the awesome company they are....quickly found them and got them to us!!)

While I took Bennett to the Mix and Mingle, the rest of the group headed to find a good spot to watch the parade.  Once they got settled, D-Daddy called and said that he had an excellent spot...right in the top center of the train platform.  Grandmama got herself a frappacino and shared with Maggie.  "Maggie drink coffee!!" and she was crazy!!  We headed back after meeting the characters to take our spots in the parade and ran into Cinderella's stepmother and stepsisters.  They were hilarious!!  Bennett couldn't stop laughing at them.

The parade was great!  Bennett decided that he wanted to get closer to the action so I took him and Maggie downstairs and we sat right on the curb.  Maggie was hanging in there and cheering...when literally within in 5 seconds she fell asleep sitting straight up in my lap.  It was hysterical.  She truly just crashed.  These are some pictures from the parade.  They aren't great since it was so dark.

Hard to see...Jack Sparrow

Hitchhiking ghosts from The Haunted Mansion

Everyone was headed out of the park after the parade so we used our monorail trick to get back to the parking lot.  Bennett staged this pic while we were waiting for the monorail but it makes me laugh so hard because his expression is AWESOME!!

He couldn't hang once the car got into motion....crashed out quickly!

Every princess sleeps in a tiara, right?
