HORSE CAMP

Grandmama and D-Daddy signed the grandkids up for horse back riding camp this week.  They had so much fun!!  They learned horse care, how to ride horses, and do arts and crafts. Thank you, Grandmama and D-Daddy, for wonderful experiences this week!!

MAKE-A-WISH ART PARTY

Bennett and Grace were invited to come to an art party for Make-a-Wish.  This event was held at Painting with a Twist.  It was originally for kids 8 and older, but they made an exception for Grace since she had done this type of art work before.  When we arrived, there were not enough people to make 20 canvasses so Maggie and I were recruited to participate.  That was fun.....  These paintings will be given to donors at Delicious Wishes in September.

MINNESOTA VACATION - JULY 6 AND HEADED HOME

We woke up and headed to church with our awesome Porta's.  The kids had a great time and Dan's dad delivered an awesome message.  After lunch, we went to Rainforest Cafe for lunch.

Then it was time to check out Mall of America.  We hit The Disney Store, Lego Land, American Girl, Peeps, and every toy store in between.  The kids had a great time riding rides.

We headed back to the Porta's for dinner and last minute snuggles.  The next morning, we were sad to hit the road back to Texas.  Our trip went by so fast.  This was the only picture we got of all the kids together on the trip!!

We found a neat park in Overland Park, KS on our way back to Texas.  They had so many things for the kids to do.  We watched a cow milking demonstration, pet animals, and played in the playground.

We kept driving after dinner.  We were finally getting tired so we pulled over to stay in a hotel that was literally surrounded by corn fields.

It was a fabulous trip, but we were happy to see this sign!!

Thanks, Porta's, for an amazing vacation for us!  We had so much fun and the kids are still talking about our trip.  We love you guys!!

MINNESOTA VACATION - SKY DIVING

Megan's nice (and super cute) husband works at a drop zone.  I figured that the opportunity presented itself, so I should take it.  I was able to do a tandem sky dive with Dan.  I am soooo happy that I didn't chicken out and actually took the plunge.  This was one of the most amazing things I have ever done in my life.  The view was amazing.  The feeling was incredible.  I really, really want to go again.
