MINNESOTA VACATION - JULY 6 AND HEADED HOME

We woke up and headed to church with our awesome Porta's.  The kids had a great time and Dan's dad delivered an awesome message.  After lunch, we went to Rainforest Cafe for lunch.

Then it was time to check out Mall of America.  We hit The Disney Store, Lego Land, American Girl, Peeps, and every toy store in between.  The kids had a great time riding rides.

We headed back to the Porta's for dinner and last minute snuggles.  The next morning, we were sad to hit the road back to Texas.  Our trip went by so fast.  This was the only picture we got of all the kids together on the trip!!

We found a neat park in Overland Park, KS on our way back to Texas.  They had so many things for the kids to do.  We watched a cow milking demonstration, pet animals, and played in the playground.

We kept driving after dinner.  We were finally getting tired so we pulled over to stay in a hotel that was literally surrounded by corn fields.

It was a fabulous trip, but we were happy to see this sign!!

Thanks, Porta's, for an amazing vacation for us!  We had so much fun and the kids are still talking about our trip.  We love you guys!!

MINNESOTA VACATION - SKY DIVING

Megan's nice (and super cute) husband works at a drop zone.  I figured that the opportunity presented itself, so I should take it.  I was able to do a tandem sky dive with Dan.  I am soooo happy that I didn't chicken out and actually took the plunge.  This was one of the most amazing things I have ever done in my life.  The view was amazing.  The feeling was incredible.  I really, really want to go again.

MINNESOTA VACATION - JULY 5

Another beautiful day in Minnesota!  We headed back to Round Lake to swim and play in the splash park.  The water was so clear...and cold!  It was a fun morning.

After playing at the park, we stopped for lunch.  Bennett really enjoyed his homemade root beer!

Next, we headed out to the drop zone.  I think it is safe to say that we wore the kids out!

Gracie loved snuggling with Megan!
We saw SO much corn on this trip.  These were some of the smaller stalks.

These were super cool building blocks.  Bennett is so creative.

Craig and I were excited to check another state off our list since we didn't realize that the dropzone was in Wisconsin!  The kids loved playing here while I nervously waited for my big adventure.....SKY DIVING!
